This support rack was designed to improve throughput as thin glass displays (0.5 mm) were going through processing. The racks were designed to withstand unconventional environments.

The overall rack was made from aluminum and spot welded. The shelves are modular so they can be replaced with custom shelves of different numbers. The wheels are made from special polymer to withstand the processing environment. As a result because of improved throughput, the process became more cost-effective.
